After living Alabama at the age of 2, I moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended Washburn Elementary School, and others. At 12 years old, I moved to Cleveland, Ohio to live with my father. I returned to Cincinnati to finish my last 2 years of school at Taft High School, graduating in June 1969.
My freshman year of collage was at Cleveland State University. I then transferred to Knoxville College in Tennessee. It was during my first year in Tennessee that I met James Brown "Godfather of Soul", and became a radio announcer on his local radio station. Working in the broadcasting industry was very interesting at a young age. It gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of famous entertainers. I finished my last 2 years of college at the University of Tennessee where I graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration.
I left Knoxville after graduating and moved to Nashville Tennessee. There I started a business career in the insurances industry as an underwriter at Aetna Insurance. I also was the afternoon disk jockey at the local radio station, and open up a nightclub on the famous Printer's Alley.
After 2 years in Nashville, I moved back to Cincinnati to become a Marketing Representative and Underwriter at Hartford Insurance. I met my future wife there. In 1981 I was recruited by the Firemen's Fund Insurance Company in San Rafael (San Francisco Bay Area), to be a national Marketing Program Manager.
I worked on my Master Degree Program at Golden Gate University majoring in Marketing. After finishing that program, I work at several other companies in marketing capacity including Marketing Product manager at Pacific Bell, Marketing Manager at a savings and loan, and Director at Citibank.
I started my own business in 1991. It was a real estate appraisal firm. Later I also open a used car lot and owned a job career franchise.
Since I always love traveling, I got a part-time job working at the airport, and attended computer college receiving a degree in Web Design and Internet Management. This started my career in the Internet industry.
