I was born in Bessemer, Alabama (Sloss) on a cold December Day. I am the third of my siblings. I am a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama where I am a member of the choir and I am also active with the Women's Missionary Society. I am retired from Protective Life Insurance Company after 19 years of service.

I was educated in the Bessemer School System, attending Dunbar Elementary School, where I am now an active member of the reunion committee. I enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
