He confessed hope in Christ and joined the Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, July 5, 1964, under the administration of Reverend G. W. Slone.

He was a graduate of the J.S. Abrams High School Class of 1970.

He departed this life Saturday, June 10, 1972, at the Hospital at Cleveland, Ohio.
